Steve Jones
Steve hails from the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire and started playing the drums at the tender age of seven, joining his first band, Bream Silver two years later. After a brief spell at Bream he then moved to local rivals Coleford Town. It wasn't long before his talents were spotted by championship section Flowers Band in 1989.
He spent a very enjoyable and successful twenty one years at Flowers with highlights including winning the West of England area title on five occasions and twice claiming the Grand Shield in 1998 and 2007. Steve left Flowers for a brief period at Tredegar Town Band in October 2010, where he bagged an All England Masters title. In February 2012 he accepted the position of percussionist with the Cory Band.
