Following one of the most keenly fought and closest contests in recent history, we have been crowned European Champions for 2013. Leading our fierce rivals, Eikanger Bjorsvik Musikklag from Norway after the set test section, we survived their stunning performance in the own choice to regain the title that we haven't held since 2010. We are to travel to Kerkrade in July to defend our World title at the quadrennial WMC.

As in 2009, we expect competition of the highest class in the form of Manger Musikklag from Norway, The Fairey Band from England and the toughest of all test pieces in Giske's Goldberg 2012.
